Technically, ‘mozzarella di bufala campana’ is a fresh, pliable cheese with a subtle consistency and even more subtle crust. Caserta – Caserta is located on the edge of the Campanian plain at the foot of the Campanian Subapennine mountain range. This city is well-known for its fascinating Royal Palace, surrounding gardens and their amazing fountains, constructed for the Bourbon Kings of Naples.
It is one of the largest palaces erected in Europe during the 18th century. In 1997, the palace was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
